Dental insurance and benefits are a slightly different concept. While the dental insurance is a plan that covers your costs in cases of dental problems; the benefits however may or may not cover your risk fully. We offer different types of dental insurance plans available in Texas.
Types of dental insurance plans
There are generally three types of dental insurance plans offered by health insurance companies.

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO): These plans are associated with specific dentists enlisted with the company that accept the plan. You may go to another dentist however, it would incur you higher cost.

Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO):These plans are accepted by a network of dentists, in lieu of a set co-pay, or free of charge. However, you cannot go out of network dentist under this plan.

Discount or referral dental plan:This plan doesn't pay anything for your care. The dentists who take part in these plans, gives you a discount on their services..
